I wonder how younger generations will cope as they age and see their world change... less and less is being made by hand, and with AI art, automation/ robotic fabrications... and everything being in a digital form, from our family photos, vacation videos, school graduations ceremonies... all recorded digitally and uploaded to "the cloud". Nothing seems to be built or made permanent or anything worthy as heirlooms. I wonder what the long term psychological effects on the subconscious mind has in a populace that doesn't have anything rooted ^(??)^... Banks are built with brick and mortar for a reason... to instill a sense of trust. If it looks like its built to be a long lasting, it speaks to the subconscious that its a trustworthy institution. Everything now is built with the same modern warehouse look, corrugated steel, beige stucco.... errr box (?), that can be a storefront for anything, just swap the sign! Interchangeability!!!... So there's no personality anymore. No history, no character... just my humble opinion.

Ebb and flow of humanity. Some of us will learn some won't. Humans are a pendulum over time, I feel like people only like the extremes.

It's built for efficiency and cost. And, you're wrong, sort of. You can get most things handmade if you want. That's only possible because most of our needs are so incredibly cheap.
