There being a God behind it all is a good probability. Even for a non-believing agnostic like myself. Unless your mind is totally closed. Also depends on how you define God, and there are probably many levels. But when you get back to the original level, wherever and whenever that may be, its hard for there to be much else. I am one who thinks we probably live in an electronic simulation of some type. But whats a simulation? Many say life and conciousness are God spreading out in order to experience. That makes sense and after breaking it down for over a decade, studying history, nature, religion and so on, its hard to imagine anything else being the real truth. The rock floating in space, traveling thousands of miles an hour in dffferent directions is something else entirely, and very tough to imagine as the truth. It sure is an interesting place though. It would still be endlessly interesting if sitting in a single room forever with only the mind to wander.

Just cause a kid somewhere is running a sim city simulation on his computer and the Earth is that simulation doesn't make the kid our god. Or make the kid smart. We live on a fallible planet with fallible "rules". I guess math is sorta consistent.

Your describing the first of the layers I mentioned. That kid would have no closer relation to God than those in his simulation, because he would be just as likely to reside in a simulation. But when you get to the top layer and the origin of everything what do you have?
