Dudes on job sites aren't known for their writing skills. I guess one in a million can happen. And yes, his last name is kinda strange for being on a job site also. These things add up to "hard to believe". But he does go on to saying he knows different trades. The story of a Muslim man giving him a nickname is weird as well. But anyway, I think you know how I feel about Islam, with or without this persons commentary. He could have just said they are lying, low IQ zealots. They have a book that makes claims about everything with zero evidence but they have faith in the book and god. What else are you supposed to do with a person who hopes a book is true, other than troll them? These people who follow the desert god yahweh come with a book and a sword. Pick one... They consider anyone who doesn't have hope in their god as evil. I troll with my version of the truth.

My construction boss and I were both heavy readers. My machinist boss was a heavy reader. My dad didn't complete third grade and was a heavy reader. Oldest brother was a drop out and knew American history better than the average professor, was even invited to guest lecture in history classes. I had five brothers and exactly ONE wasn't a heavy reader. Odd, none of us graduated high school. One of them is an expert in Greek and Hebrew. Not as expert as he thinks he is. But, better than average. I'm used to people from pure working class backgrounds with less than high-school educations being readers and extremely well informed about anything that caught their interest. But, I knew pot smokers too.

I left out alcoholics. They didn't read either. And, damn sure: There were plenty of both. But, no; I grew up with the idea that tradesmen were well read and intelligent.
