I'm pretty sure you can't articulate Frankfurt school philosophy. Modern leftist thinking, which includes Frankfurt supposes that it can define reality, thus controlling it. Modern religious thinking, which does not include Islam, segregates the corporeal world from the spiritual world which leaves us with the bizarre spectacle of the overtly religious being capable of transacting with physical reality while the supposedly secular rely on declarations.
