messaging...we are thinking about. but may end up a standalone companion app. considering various possibilities. live streaming can be done via the embed video feature. We dont host it...but can embed existing streams into a post.

Just to annoyingly chime in with my 2 cents. Would this "Companion app" link to the same user database. As you must have a soj.ooo account to use the messenger and they are in a sense the same account? just possibly a separate service platform. or would it be a separate thing? I forsee a lot of problems if the accounts are not directly related ^not just linked^ as you must have a soj.ooo account and it must be the same as the messenger. Otherwise people can exploit this, impersonating users back and forth, especially if you are going to eventually allow people to exchange financial transactions etc. I could get one account name on soj.ooo but then someone else could beat me to the same account name on soj.ooo messenger. I'm sure you guys are thinking ahead but i can't help myself.
