Not good enough. Really all DOGE has done is throw the citizenry a bone. We aren’t even close to actual justice. I would forfeit a $5000 tax credit to see fauci behind bars.

That we deserve the full $2.7 million each tax payer is truly owed. But you know they’ll take their 5k and go grab another Charger, chain, credit cards and put 2 months on an apartment. Doesn’t matter if you gave them 5k or 5M…. Those of us who understand will do the proper things with it, multiply it.

I wondered with all the cuts in government spending we would incur a contraction in the economy. Almost warranting a stimulus package of sorts. Which is why they are proposing a $5k check for people. The way I would explain it is if we cut all food stamps tonight, tomorrow the stock market would crash as MANY companies rely on food stamps to make a profit. The federal government essentially props up the economy through its excessive spending and a large cut in that spending would hurt the economy to one degree or another.

I'd rather see money going to debt paid off, but is there a possibility it is a one time event to relieve some population burden in the meantime. I don't put it past any government in these days to go for universal basic income and more AI surveillance. I don't like the prospect at all. I do believe this government could go as wrong as any other in these end times, but I remain hopeful in the moment until I definitely see otherwise. Gotta keep our eyes peeled!

Makes sense as a political move, very few people would be voting for democrats if they did that after all the fuss they are making over the cuts. Personally, I think we should cut enough to run a surplus first and pay down some of the debt, and turn off the money printer. But the precedent has been set to print money and buy votes. It's a very difficult cycle to get out of without things getting really bad like in Argentina.

I agree with the general plan you outlined. Hopefully the details of the countries debt, such as loans taken out on loans, get put on the spotlight. However, we know who owns the banks and payment processors, and how the current admin is siding with those people. It's the same problem in regards to other topics, for instance JFK files, where they expose part of the truth, but never point to the main root perpetrator.
