The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Iraqiji, informed his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, that Israel's attack on Tehran would not have occurred had it not been for coordination with America.

He said during a phone call that the Saudi minister made with him, that "the Israeli attack would not have occurred without the prior coordination and explicit support of the American administration".

"The United States bears full responsibility for the repercussions of this escalation, as Israel does not have the nerve to carry out such aggression without direct American cover".

He stressed that targeting nuclear facilities and residential areas constitutes a flagrant violation of international law, stressing that Iran reserves its legitimate right to respond, based on Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations، And that its armed forces are at the highest levels of readiness.

The Iranian minister called on the International Atomic Energy Agency to take a clear position on "this blatant Zionist attack", recalling that Iran is a member state of the NPT ( NPT )، It will not stand idly by while targeting its peaceful facilities.

In turn, the Saudi minister, during the call, expressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of this attack, and offered his warm condolences for the number of victims of Iranian military and civilian leaders.

The Saudi minister affirmed that "the recent Israeli attack is an aggressive and barbaric act that constitutes a serious threat to security and stability in the region," expressing the Kingdom's solidarity with the Iranian people in this difficult circumstance.

This contact comes at a sensitive time, reflecting a noticeable change in the tone of the regional discourse, amid an unprecedented escalation in the confrontation between Iran and Israel, and growing fears of an expansion of the conflict in the region.
