The mere thought of living my life w/o firmly holding to a supreme being leaves me in anguish! #1 - to think that we, in our present state, are the best there is to offer and #2 - not having any reason to hope for something better. You come across as an intelligent, well spoken person and I'm assuming law abiding, moral and a protector / provider of those close to you. Does it make sense that people choose those decent traits spontaneously, while others choose the opposite?
