Bryan recently got into a heavy-handed debate with the lead developer of the Libre Wolf browser, a Firefox clone used on the desktop. I believe the debate stemmed around the terms of service changes that the Firefox platform introduced, which were deemed by the user community as being heavy-handed and draconian. These changes boiled down to user data being sold to external parties like data brokers. Since that announcement, Firefox attempted to cycle back on those changes but the feedback was already in, indicating that users would leave the platform in droves. Bryan does good work.
