I'm a GrapheneOS user. Just love it. I'm pretty paranoid about the wider Internet, but I practice OPSEC as best I can. Here's a list of things I do: 1\. Private DNS is running 24x7. I point it to Adguard protection rather than Cloudflare or Quad9. Private DNS is also set up in Brave Browser. 2\. I use a multitude of different VPNs depending on what my situation is. 3\. For me, key files I back them up fortnightly then encrypt them locally (256 AES) and upload them to a trusted repository offshore, just in case anything happens to my phone, my residence, or me. The files include a KeypassDX file with logon credentials and tech info. This file is passworded before encryption. Plus there is an exported VCF file of all my contacts, HTML bookmarks, 2FA Aegis backup, plus details of Messenger apps including Simplex, Session and XMPP (Conversations). 4\. My phone automatically reboots after 8 hours. I could make this shorter, but it does work overnight so I need it open. 5\. I use 4 Appstores friendly to Graphene: F-Droid, Droidify, Accresant, Obtainium and Zapstore. Try to avoid Google Play Store where possible. That will do for now.
