So I'll explain it to you since you're not very smart. When you make light hearted jokes about something people should otherwise be angry about, you ease the tension and you show the next generation it's not a big deal. This is called a psychological operation, or social engineering. These methods are used to brainwash the viewers into becoming comfortable and used to immigrants. Everything you watch on a screen is brainwashing you, technically; you recall television like it's a memory.
