Recently? only in India:) If you want to consider yourself an animal, no one will be stop you. Only you know what brainwashed you into taking particular view of the world, heal yourself:) I for one, enjoy the idea of people being created in the image of God, even if humanity has drifted off course. Animals were created for human dominion/stewardship I think you just wanted to hear Bible verses:) Proverbs 12:10 "A righteous man regards the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel" Matthew 10:29 "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Your god willed that 42 kids should die because they called a dude bald. Your god isn't great or good. Your god doesn't care about sparrows or them falling to the ground. Also, your god flooded the Earth, which killed land animals but not sea animals. I do not believe in your holy book. I do not believe that Back to the Future was a nod towards 9/11. I have an opinion, along with you having an opinion. But your holy book talks about your god murdering kids for saying baldy. Is that a god you want to worship? Why?

YHWH is exactly the God I want to worship. It is very difficult to argue the same issue from someone as knowledgeable as you, and it is too bad that one passage offended your sensibilities and made you write off all of the Bible. Maybe you overreacted:) The 42 youths made an error in judgement of mocking Elisha, who was God's prophet/representative and God saw fit to punish them. Who am I to know better than God what divine punishment is supposed to be. I don't know the exact context but one can exercise some thought. When God sent prophets to Israel it was because they were transgressing and worshiping idols and God wanted them to repent and be saved. Most of the Old Testament God is disciplining Israel, whose people are always turning away from Him.
