I have not "investigated" but some age unpleasantly, Chuck Schumer's "wife" and Germany's Olaf Scholz "wife" for sure. I can honestly say I am happy not to be in that club:) During menopause, a woman's body stops circulating estrogen but continues to circulate the same amounts of testosterone. The imbalance of hormones causes the appearance of some male secondary sex characteristics, like coarse facial hair.
