I used to use RO when I lived in the city but it has downsides. Well water ^depending on your well and location^ is the best water you could possibly get on earth. Obviously if you live in a city you probably can't have a well unfortunately. I have higher than needed iron, and my water is a little bit hard so I have an iron/heavy metal/softener filter system. It's cheap to get your water tested like $200 incase you live near farms or whatever where you may need a more complicated filtration system than I use. Well water rules, it tastes better than anything else imo.

I believe this to be very underrated.... Evidence is watching a dog drink from a puddle in the dirt rather than a "fresh clean bowl" from the garden hose.... The minerals in natural soil are beneficial... obvsly
