Yeah what was this guy supposed to do with a gun? He could have definitely made a strong political statement with one, and if he had I think he should have been viewed as a martyr, but it's a suicidal act. We need statements like that and martyrs of that kind. There is no more terrifying statement than a man committed to die in the act of killing you. You could achieve the same impact with a knife or hammer, realistically. We are the tool-making animal.
