Things here (I might not be living where it can be assumed) are a little more sane than Europe but that is just my take. You are the US aren't you? They are shipping people out planes and ramping up an authoritarian agenda so vast, you'll not know where you are soon enough.... the same one as here on this side of the pond.. Maybe I am missing the point of your question. How often in your life are you acquiescing your god-given sovereignty to the government... Little do you allow them to take money from what you earn? If so, why? Because you are afraid of the consequences I'd imagine...

I don't live in the US. I just made that comment about guns to have little bit of fun with you and others. Where I am now is at least less susceptible to domestic conflicts. Ideally I would like to be somewhere else but home is what one knows best and there is no guarantee somewhere else will be safer/better. I can get an EU passport but it is starting to feel more of liability than an asset. Most of us exist under the thumb of governmental bureaucracy that like with covid can mindlessly try to do away with you or your loved ones. One could simplify and isolate a bit but life could get more complicated. Your line of persistent questioning leads me to believe you have some personal ideas/solutions you would like to share?:)
