I just spent the last 3 days working with GPT to create a market trading automation bot. Since my degree is in computer science, I could have coded it without GPT but it would've taken more like 3+ weeks instead. I've also used it in the past to diagnose and treat a disease I couldn't get help for from doctors. As frustratingly retarded AI is sometimes, I have found it to be indispensable.

I'm not saying it isn't useful. I don't see a future where it will take my job. It still needs a person to make it useful. It could certainly replace my doctor. 😀

Yes it is a tool not an autonomous being, but it can increase an individual's productivity and capabilities past otherwise normal.
