I bought it from the gettysburg museum which gives you it with a paper claiming its authenticity. So I believe they're legit, they weren't expensive either, they were probably mass produced. I would like to get my hands on one of those sweet nazi daggers or a German 1939 copy of mein kampf, or even one of those red arm bands, those are my holy grail of WW2 collectibles.
