Here’s a few: I was about 10. I had a dream that my mother was in her car as it went up in flames. A few days later, her car blew up in the driveway. Thankfully, I made her start dinner instead of taking that trip to the drug store she was planning. When I was 18, I got a phone call from my grandmother. When I said “Hello,” there was a silence and I knew she was calling to tell me about my mom who was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Shortly thereafter, I was sitting in my room when my grandmother came in. I saw the look on her face and I knew my father had died. When I was young, I was particularly “tapped in,” but it’s gotten less and less over time or maybe I’ve gotten so busy/distracted that I’ve stopped caring about being tapped in. Regardless, anyone wanna share ideas on how to get back into the flow again? But, no, I won’t do DMT. That’s a hard pass.

I think it comes from God. I think that there are spiritual gifts and those gifts are often mimicked by the enemy. So, there are people who can tap in but their power comes from below. The enemy’s MO is to copy and invert everything God does. As for the tapping in, I have very few opportunities to get out of the humdrum. Is this what meditation is for? It’s next to impossible for me to do that; my mind is either flooded or empty. I guess I have to just practice and be more intentional about creating time and space to tap out.
