Yeah i wonder what could be done about that. Will be lots of people posting youtube links from yt accounts that dont allow 3rd party embed. Not sure if theres a solution.

There isn't. It's a thing on youtubes end I'm fairly certain. Im almost positive its that way because that account regularly gets hidden/banned/shadow banned. I mean just look at the content. Lmao It does the same thing when posting to all other platforms, facebook included.

Right. The youtube account holder can choose to allow 3rd party embed or not. What im saying is on soj.ooo's end it could detect when a video cant embed. And maybe fetch the thumbnail from youtube somehow. Or Put up a placeholder image that says click this to view on youtube. Instead of the current ugly "video unavailable"
