3.) Personal disengagement (blocking/muting) does not restrict speech, it’s simply exercising boundaries. In real life, how can you "mute" someone in public spaces, without physical aggression, you can only control your own reaction to their presence. Is suppressing anger not a useful trait to transfer from the offline world to online? Imagine getting accustomed to "muting" people online, how do you cope offline?
