Do you think law enforcement can do their job without surveillance? What right to privacy do you have in public places that the government "owns"? Are the roads the government which they lease to us to use? Why can't camera's be put up to watch the roads? Because humans will use them for nefarious purposes? Aren't guns used nefariously? How about FBI warrants? Lots of things are used in the improper manner, camera's on the roads can be a useful thing to track criminals. Yes, of course these things can be abused. We need to hire a better class of human to use these tools. All we have in this world are tools and us using them. Hammers can be used to murder as well as build a civilization.

I can agree somewhat with your statement. In extreme cases like child kidnappings, a surveillance system like flock could be a great tool to have. But the license plate speedometer readers are flawed and proved to be flawed numerous times with people getting tickets when they are not even in the state. A matter a fact, here's a video of a guy it happened to and he can explain why the use of these cameras are a violation of our Constitutional rights better then I can.
