AI is only as good as the input. I am a physician. My first query to Open Evidence, a prominent medical AI, was the following: “causes of hyponatremia.” OE left out adrenal insufficiency. So now I only use OE as one tool. I find it best to acquire minimum of 2 sources to corroborate a health plan. I have always welcomed 2nd opinions.

I agree with your level of thinking. Let me build on that. If we feed our own query with facts and different pathways of possible side effects from the medication a human is taking, then it would be more clear of what is eroding the problem. If we find the problem to the issue, then it is easier for a physician like you to make a health plan. I am not familiar with Open Evidence, but I would only assume that the information feeding it is probably only mainstream data. I could be wrong but for example an AI model/agent won't tell you that Ivermectin or Febendazole is a possible drug for a specific cancer. Of course they won't due to lack of evidence, but also this could hinder Big Pharma's piggy bank. A better example of AI is telling you after possibly feeding it your meds and labs: A b12 deficiency is occurring due to the human taking Metformin.
