I was just asking, if that is the word you are speaking of. And then what definition were you using. I've never looked the word up till now and that is what google told me. Then I asked to make sure if this is what you were meaning. "What if Maranatha literally meant....Potential Good." But it doesn't. You could have used the words Potential Good, but you used Maranatha, which doesn't mean potential good. I feel like you really like this word.

The historical usage of this word was/is not singular in purpose...or usage. In has an algorithm of patterns...each one a different meaning. Even down to alliterative patterns of homonym and homophone. This is technical, but accurate....the pronunciation changes the meaning in the same way a homophone like bear - animal, bear - endure, bare - naked. These sound the same with different meaning. These sound different, with the same spelling - tear - eye drops tear - rip In ancient times.....people would have used 'coded' words to distinguish in group and outgroups. Did he say....Mara natha or Mar ana tha? This well is deep. Well worth exploring. And here we are. Peace.😇
