Thank you for this reply. And I can sense the antagonism...I hear where you are coming from and the level of contention is duly noted. You have a Pocha....your rules....all good. But if you are open to debate in the future....I will leave you with some thoughts. Odd stuff. However, my point here, is that one doesn't require imagination or belief to discern truth. But for you to suggest that another persons faith is too weak to understand...is a bit disingenuous...just sayin. Also, it is not my own opinion...it was a factual statement I made...that you did not contend with....instead you insulted my faith or lack thereof....odd that...no? You wrote: *If you believe the verses to be gaslighting that's your belief. What do you want me to do about it ? I am not here to influence or change you..... just here to post my own viewpoints.* Again, this has nothing to do with belief. Gaslighting is gaslighting. Water is wet...we don't have to believe that. We can factual ascertain truth. However, your point is well taken....you are not here to influence or change....just here to post your own viewpoints.   You cannot discern truth without faith or belief You know 2+2=5 is a lie. WHY ? because you **believe** 2+2=4. WHY? because 2+2 IS EQUAL TO 4. Your belief is rooted in the rational logical path of addition. However beliefs also start from assumptions. Assumptions are not rational or logical ALL the time but act as a vehicle to let your mind process what it has not encountered before. Make enough of the same assumptions you now create an IDEA. IDEAS over time get transformed into belief. BELIEF over time becomes FAITH. You have an idea that imagination and belief cannot discern truth. But that is predicated on a wrong assumption. IMAGINATION is a big vector of creativity and processing. To dismiss imagination as not related to your other neural factors is well to put it mildly foolish. Hence if either your **belief** and **imagination** are limited how will you discern a truth that is outside ur personal experience ??? THE ANSWER IS NEVER AS YOU JUST DEMONSTRATED. Have you never met a person who upon crying to the CREATOR for help were not delivered from ALL their troubles ??? I am such a person. This does not mean that a fresh batch of trouble is not on it's way to waylay me after all to live is to suffer but ALLLLLL of the troubles I had before and during the call to the LORD were solved in one fashion or another. THAT'S what the point of the verse is. PEACE BE UPON YOU BROTHER !
