Redpill, from the same sources you quoted above, there was this line also " It is preferable for fathers and grandfathers not to marry off" "until she reaches the age of puberty AND they ask for her permission" "Accept from people what comes natural for them, command what's good by custom" Quran. In Islam, customs and norms of the time are encouraged to be adopted ( with the exception of those that turn something unlawful to lawful like adultry, alcohol..etc). Marrying young was the norm back then for not just Muslims but across the world over thosands years ago where low life expactany was the norm. However, in this day and time, it is not common among Muslims and it's found in only very poverty stricken areas or among rural communities where they typically don't seek higher education. And as I have posted above, it is not an Islam specific thing. For example, in India 84℅ of the 12 million married children under 10 are actually Hindu ( Devanik Saha).
