Definitely think that's one of the biggest concerns. Especially when most parents work full time and maybe, depending where you live, both parents are working. I thought at the beginning that I was going to have to work and rush home to be there and get everything done. Doing it for about 5 years now, you see that that concern ends up being not too concerning after all. Question - did you go through public school growing up?

I went to public school and thought it was an absolute waste of time, which it is. I think everything could be condensed, but it's essentially a national day care system.

The good thing about homeschool is that everything is condensed. For myself, going through public school at about 8 hours per day, I was concerned about how I was going to do that and work... might be silly but that's what worried me... It's honestly about 2 hours per day from K-2. Right now we have a 4th grader and it takes about 3 hours total per day at most. As your kids get older, there are many subject they can do on their own. You just have to check their work and explain anything that may be confusing. Basically, seems easier as it your kids gets older for the parent but the workload does get a more difficult for the kid. But hey, they have all day lol
