Hi, we are planning on homeschooling in a couple of years and thanks for starting this pocha. I'm just wondering if you have some curriculum you follow or how the nuts and bolts of it go? The one thing I know is that the pressure from work colleagues will be enormous. No one goes outside the lines around here and they are more than eager to let you know.

Honestly, I'm Catholic so I use Seton Homeschool program. The cost ranges with the grade they're in. For example, my child is in 4th grade so the materials needed, cost about $400 for the year. They send you all the work books and a parent guideline. They have 4 quarters, each week in that quarter has a check list on what to accomplish each day. So really easy to stay on track. As we've gone through it, now that it's fourth grade, there is a little more to cover daily. Subjects in this one include: math, science, history, vocabulary, spelling, reading, religion, handwriting, music, phonics, p.e., and English. I feel like they make it super easy and if you are a christian/catholic, it includes aspects of that in each subject. We like it on our end. https://www.setonhome.org/
