An idea to keep the little pug dog from reaching the cat's poo: Put up a board tall enough to keep the dog out, it won't be too high to cause an issue for the cat. Who's the old man w/the stick?

It puts extra stress on cat's joint if the cat had to do it on regular basis; why should a cat have to suffer because of a poop eating dog? Why not just have two cats, and no dog?
