Zero, you have to find the mechanism of pain. For example, do you have a partial rotator cuff injury? Do you have biceps tendinitis? So a good way to proceed is to use Dr. Google. Look up the anatomy of the shoulder - muscles, tendons, ligaments. Try to pinpoint point on the anatomy where you feel the pain. Look up the structures affected and how to treat pain. A pretty good source for ideas is the app Open Evidence. Hope this helps.
