Feel your pain here too. We've had so much snow this year i haven't been able to go in the woods. For me to take a break from being online, ill carve small wooden figures etc, keeps my hands moving and my brain in a different gear, keeps my anxiety down, and relaxes me. I also light a natural beeswax candle at night near me to release stress and bring calmness if I've been at the computer too much. Gazing into a candle flame releases dopamine and serotonin and helps keep your inner clock ticking right. Any hobbies or crafting is a big help, I think, it gets you through those long winter months.

It is good to employ all of your senses to achieve a sense of equanimity when the weather isn’t cooperating to help you in that respect. Well done and I look forward to learning more Bush craft
