I only started playing golf as a means of proving a point...to prove a theory. And along the way, the game has a way of expressing value...in ways that cannot be measured linguistically. Hitting a golf ball almost perfectly....is pure grace....one of the sweetest feelings known to man or woman. In golf....there is perfection in motion....literally grace....joy in the moment. One with God....so to say. And it can be taught. We can bypass the metaphysical? I don't think we can....but would be willing to investigate with the younger generations. We don't need our gods poisoning their well....something like that. However, the 'belief' that we can strike a ball perfectly can also be a well informed belief....and in my opinion...that is a religious experience...when the metaphysical and the physical overlap as one thing....for that brief moment....we are one with our own creation....it doesn't happen by accident. It can happen by accindent. It can also be mastered to near perfection....right up to godlike perfection....pure grace in motion. Beyond martial arts....golf can become a new path to enlightment. And most definitely...it exposes us to the gates of embarrassment hell....at any given moment...in any given shot. That is the given....the original sin....the last temptation of Christ....next time I'm coming back as a Golf Pro.😇 Some of the golf pros out there are creating miracles everyday....and miracles pay. Something along the lines of Caddyshack....crossed with Baggar Vance....Groundhog day. We can have a lot of fun with this....the structures are already in place. Just make Golf into ministries....build congregations. The kids will love this....we can unite the generations. Spread the good word. Peace.😇

I think I get it. In a weird way, even just whacking the ball around in a pasture, making up our own rules and courses... my memory sort of vibes with what you're saying. Well... Good for you! Thanks for the post.
