Awesome thank you for your take, I guess time will tell. I played the last one, kinda gets repetitive but mostly I was curious about the soj.ooo input as online the spectrum of reviews is crazy far apart.... not sure if it an over reaction to identify politics or if it actually has to do with the gameplay... I'll watch the streamers try it out first!

I only ever played Odyssey and didn't look at like an Assassin's Creed game, but a Ubisoft game in the same boat as Far Cry. Their launcher sucks and no-one asked for it. I thought the game was decent but repetitive and just assumed the titled after it would be shit. Even if the game wasn't gay black samurai I wouldn't be their audience. The last Ubisoft game I actually played to credits was Raymond Legends.
