Pray for me. Something. My boss is a megalomaniac, a real toxic entity hell-bent on besting me. I took two personal days this week during in-service, a time when we’re supposed to be prepping for the new spring semester because my kids were out of school. A student plagiarized 2/2 essays because he didn’t cite his sources. That may work in the real world but it shouldn’t in mine—but, regardless, my boss told me that he gave me mercy by allowing me to be gone for “no good reason,” so I need to show this kid mercy. Yeah. I’m in work hell. Let’s hope my boss gets an actual life (far, far away from me).
