I can see Trump taking Greenland and then eventually us as well. Canada is never going to defend the arctic. I would prefer Moscow over Washington, though.

I understand the sentiment. Compare to the what we have in the West, Russia looks like a sane option. I don't know what Trump has in mind for Canada. Right now it looks like he wants to rebuild manufacturing sector at home, he is more sane than UN/WEF policies being implemented in Canada but a North American Union isn't a worthwhile option. Funny how some on the right are warm to the idea. All Canada needs to do is adopt better economic policies, reversing the left's ideology would also be necessary.
