You do have a god. It might be yourself, or it might be something else you respect above others, but you certainly have a god you worship. Your rejection of God is a sort of worship of something other. Thinkers like C.S. Lewis and various theologians argue that everyone ultimately serves and structures their life around something - whether that is success, nature, science, the human intellect, or the self. In this framework, "worship" is not just ritual or prayer; it is where you place your ultimate trust, derive your highest values, and center your worldview. The Implication: From this standpoint, rejecting the Creator simply shifts that reverence to a created thing or concept.

Just cause you need a god, doesn't mean I need one. I'm a human in this world floating on this rock. The idea of a god is made up by humans. I don't need a god in my life for any reason. Why do you need or want a god?
