You can have a cartoon/show that looks like Lazytown and not be progressive, I believe this fundamentally what conservatives lack. To reverse course there can be gay characters such as Fred Luo from Outlaw star who is clearly homosexual, but it's not a defining part of his character dispelling the narrative that NOT all gay act a certain way.

It's not creativity, people who are more conservative leaning tend to avoid moving into the arts in much the same way that progressives tend to go outside the box. You may not agree with what they come up with but they're constantly pushing conventional art.
