That was particularly true for Software Engineering. All those companies are as woke as they can be and most of them were hiring based of sexual or racial preference to fulfill their DEI policies - which I highly detest…

How can these companies survive in the long term. One could make a some good investment decisions based on HR info, although if all companies do the same then I guess it would be time to invest overseas where DEI or ESG hasn't taken root.

Not sure really. Little consolation is that companies like Facebook are walking away from DEI policies, if that is true of course - let’s hope others will follow!
