I worked at law firms and corporate businesses. Sometimes it was exciting, fun, and dreadfully droll, but it never deeply resonated with me. I hit my 40s and really wanted to contribute something helpful and healing to society. I got my Assoc degree in Behaviorioral Studies (the best class ever in my life was Critical Thinking--aced it, by the way), then signed up for a one year full-time very good and intense Therapeutic Arts/Massage therapy school. I've been doing that for 22 years with various additional modalities, particularly certification in Oncology Massage. I control my time, fees, and physical health, and have never regretted one day.
