The state of the food supply should make you critical of every other product. At the moment I would not trust randoms growing "my" cannabis or the legalized gov cannabis supply. Sheriff Exposes Toxic Chemicals in California’s weed Industry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvUBjVlmTZk Sheriff LaRue's quote: “We’re now talking about contaminated marijuana that is out in the legal market… There is no way of knowing if the weed you’re consuming is safe.” The California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) officially tests legal cannabis products for 66 specific pesticides under state regulations. In one example Sheriff LaRue cited, a marijuana product that reached the legal market tested positive for 23 different pesticides total. 15 of those 23 were outside the scope of the state's 66-pesticide testing list — meaning the state labs do not test for them at all. Breakdown of those untested pesticides (per the sheriff's lab findings): 12 suppress the central nervous system 8 are carcinogenic (listed under California's Prop 65) 6 are groundwater contaminants 5 are 100% banned in the United States (not allowed for any use) 3 are air contaminants None are permitted for fumigation methods Some of the pesticides carry labels like "fatal if inhaled."

I am not in any way disagreeing that we should know our source for the things we ingest. 100% agreed. However, the government official, in that clip, is a complete moron....no? *We didn't know what was in those bags....for 2 years?* wtf? They were there, they were the oversight, and that is the level of moronic stupidity the rest of us have to deal with? Right? Do not trust Government Oversight....these fckers are blind. Grow your own...every time....if and when you can. Or buy from the most reputable....and still check the sources. Peace.😇

I’m going to offer another perspective. Seeking and telling the truth these days is a risky, and not very profitable hustle, especially when you're criticizing the government while still working inside the system. A sheriff has the advantage of being elected, but he can easily be outspent in the next election cycle... or worse, become the target of lawfare, just like what happened to former Sheriff Joe Arpaio (who was convicted of criminal contempt for defying a federal order on immigration enforcement—many see it as politically motivated payback from the Obama-era DOJ for his aggressive border stance and birther investigations). California is the epitome of wasting taxpayer dollars, bureaucratic looting, and policies that produce the opposite of their stated goals. It serves as a cautionary example of where states should not be heading, but in time, these same approaches often get adopted by most Democrat led states. Imagine a culture where government politicians and employees constantly transgress norms, yet face little real accountability. In this ecosystem, a sheriff who does real due diligence will constantly worry about limited funding, the next election, or becoming a target. For that reason, when he makes his case, he has to make it airtight. This is actually an example of government office excellence: serving the public, warning people about real dangers (like contaminated legal cannabis with untested/banned pesticides leaking from illegal grows), and going straight to the media with the information

On a site that does not seem to appreciate the inputs of others, many of the inputs that these others, such as yourself, are outputting...are outperforming the ones doing the criticizing. Just sayin. ;) You are offering a very clever insight. One well worth noting. It isn't easy to make a point these days....it often takes patience....and time to understand a more complex thought to its fruition. But we can win small victories...in the calm. Others will see...that existed during times of war...literally. People remaining level headed....making good calls. Having to whisper into the wind...and yet....someone does hear.
