It doesn't really even make sense to me. Not to hate on Gen alpha/Z. This applies to my generation as well. On average Kids today don't grow up with the skills necessary to become military soldiers. It's not like you can grab some kid that plays call of duty all day but has never held a rifle, or learned outdoor survival techniques. A draft system worked when the young men of a country lived hard lives and were outdoors all day. Being on ssri's and playing video games all day doesn't make a soldier. They would just be throwing un-trained young men into a meat grinder to die.
