My main point of annoyance with it is that it’s better in history books than it actually is in person. It’s a big fat tourist trap, you get in there on a spring day but in san antonio the average spring day is like 93 degrees with blistering humidity because of the river so you’re packed in there with a bunch of other tourists. the museum itself is super boring, there’s barely anything about the battle itself. It does have a good gift shop though. They’ve also got koi fish in the water runoffs and my kid liked em more than the rest of the museum when we went haha

it’s definitely worth going to once. i know people who go multiple times a year and it baffles me
