Matt I said something along these lines in response on a different post but there is still 1st line rationale for being able to delete your interactions. Yes anything can be archived but joe blogs doxxing you can only use the publicly available resources which people can largely protect themselves from with a delete button should they need it. Also, there's just general utility in being able to edit to update or remove outdated or otherwise incorrect material. I get the philosophy for your position on this and it's valid but I would ask you consider if you or the admin delete your own content or contributions at some point then you should extend that privilege to give users the same control over their own content as you grant yourselves.
