I’ve seen long trains of Starlink satellites in the night sky, they’re definitely really up there and definitely visible to the naked eye.

I've heard about that. But I watch the sky almost every night and never seen it. I do believe you have. Any reason to believe its not high altitude planes or balloons? How fast does it move?

There’s like 20 of them in a row. They just look like a long row of planes but without running lights. I seem to recall seeing them out in the mountains where the light pollution is lower.
