The Site is hosted and run from the United States of America, and complies with US LAW. Being this site is using the WWW and governed by ICANN. At some level all traffic is monitored by government agencies. There is no way to have complete privacy while online. The Site it also designed to teach users that what they do ONLINE is always monitored, by someone. The owners have expressed an ideal to create a discussion platform that is not excessively tracking users, but they have to also comply with certain Laws and policies based on how the Internet works.

oh....right...yeah... i just needed assurance as it is .ooo something entirely new to me. also i was wondering if sharing onion would be doable here...but i guess i got my answer now

I also want to add while it's free speech, there is NO PORN allowed. Which I think is a great thing. Theres plenty of porn everywhere else.
