Parent Post: If The Mental Model Doesn't Work Throw It Away. - China

Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm saying; I'm just basically toying with ideas. I don't know what's right or wrong politically. I know that communism has historically failed and ruined millions of real lives. So has capitalism. I'm stupid when it comes to understanding macro models but imo, capitalism = utopia because the story says so. Communism = dystopian hell because the story says so. As ideologies, they can work. Theoretically, I'm drawn more to socialism than communism but capitalism seems to have more individual freedom baked in so it, on its face, seems better for a free society. I'm beginning to think that such black and white categories is the problem. I think people want easy answers/clean solutions but they don't exist when dealing with messy people. I really appreciate the post you showed because it breaks down the strategy in a concise and straightforward way. I don't think that China is right but I also don't think the US is right either. What I mean is-can't we blend the two? Is that what China is doing already and we can modify some of the nastier bits of the structural underbelly? I always look at Denmark as a place where they can implement ideologies in a practical way but they're very small and their culture has certain distinctions that would require our culture to shift in values. Could what they do there ever work here? People here in the US hear the word, "communist" or "socialist" or even "democratic socialist" and they puke. They automatically condemn the ideas and the people who believe them. If I were to align myself with those ideas, I become the enemy so if I value the people around me, I have to deny what I believe. What I'm thinking is that, at some point, perhaps for collective survival, the US and China or the US and Russia or the US and literally any other nation or group of nations will have to concede to some things and evolve. The US has to stick to their guns and uphold the idea that globalism is good and we are a part of a larger truth or we go balls to the wall on American exceptionalism and capitalism is a part of manifest destiny. Giving up this particular flavor of Adam Smith capitalism would mean giving up a glorious, God-given fate. Which reminds me...why are billions of people so obsessed with one dude's probably drug-induced fever dream? When Marx or Smith wrote down their ideas, do you think they thought that billions of people would live and die based on their words? That's so crazy.

This is free thinking for sure. You bring up number of issues/problems our built in programming being a huge one which is the stuff that takes us to wars. As far as economies it seems to me that the big 3 countries we are attacking are hybrids. They are focused internally which primarily benefits them and that doesn't work with the system of globalist bankers. They constantly need collateral to back ever expanding debt hence Venezuela, Greenland, the defaults of $300 billion owed to Russia and $120 billion owed to Iran. Make no mistake those are defaults. "What I'm thinking is that, at some point, perhaps for collective survival, the US and China or the US and Russia or the US and literally any other nation or group of nations will have to concede to some things and evolve. The US is the muscle for globalism which is really benefitting ... not the U.S. I think our three enemies have shown a great deal of self control especially Russia. We [attacked their Strategic Bombers](https://www.twz.com/news-features/russian-strategic-bombers-destroyed-in-unprecedented-wide-scale-drone-attack) early on which is part of their nuclear defense and we have definitely been showing a desire to escalate everywhere. It has been said that our enemies have been trying to ease us into our decline but who's going to nuke first? I think that's about where we're at right now. Excellent post ty. I couldn't help but drift around

I agree that our "enemies" have handled us with kid gloves and I hope that they continue to do so. Reminds me of TWD; we can't ever be sure who the good guy is and who the bad guy is...

Good one. Terrance Avilez's synopsis would never pop up in my algos. I admit that I make judgements on good and bad leaders and always somehow the good one has to be bad in some degree.
