''This is why the government needs to protect human rights.'' .........then those who control the government get to decide whose rights come first, can be bribed/corrupted to favor some over others, for their parochial interest, not OTNI. ''Is someone worthy, if they can shoot you from a long distance?'' I am working on how individual rights can be empowered. One idea I am pursuing is the idea of duels, but in a way, that empowers those who are strong, intelligence, and decent, over others who are stupid, cowardly, bullies, in a way, that also empowers the military capacity of a nation, with as little tax as possible, and as much stimulation of the economy, especially, manufacturing as possible. If disagreement arises that cannot be mediated, then duel can be arranged; it doesn't have to be just one on one. Both parties can bring as many men as possible. Obviously, more men, better armed, better trained, better organized, better motivated men one brings, one would have the advantage over the other. Of course, to be able to do that will take a lot more than just money. After all, one would have to risk one's life by participating in a duel. How the duel is conducted will be based on optimal tactical tactics employed by the nation's military, either public, or private volunteer political militias, or mercenaries. This will incentivize men to become proficient in the optimal tactical tactics, and become as strong, as intelligent, as decent as possible, and discourage men to become weak, cowardly, bullies, which will contribute to OTNI, in the end. So, some rich asshole won't be able to throw his weight around, just because he has money; he could be challenged in a duel, and how many men could he bring, willing to risk their lives for the principle/character, not money? Volunteers for the duels cannot be paid, but volunteer for free; how many men are willing to risk their lives for free? Here's a hint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEFuZax5fKg
