No, just being objective; the best people I ever met were Americans; almost always white dudes: The optimal combination of intelligence (both academic and street), tact, courage ( physical/moral/philosophical/intellectual), neither shallow nor gullible nor manipulative  
  
Unfortunately, for some reason, such Americans are fairly rare, (not really rare), and very rare among politicians, or the people who climb to the pinnacle of professions.   It's like American public do not appreciate such men; they want suckjobs who are skillful at sucking up, to manipulate them by making them think they are better than they really are, instead of the truth tellers.  
  
So here is my observation:  The best Americans are better than the best Koreans.  
  
There are more (both in absolute and proportional to the general population), best Americans, than best Koreans.  
  
However, among politicians and the best from professions, there are more (proportionally) best Koreans than best Americans.  
  
The reason I think is that Americans in general do not appreciate such qualities as much as Koreans in general.   Koreans in general, appreciate such candor, intelligence, and courage to tell the truth in public, far more than the Americans in general do.   Koreans have no problem saying Koreans in general suck compared to other countries, if they really do, in particular areas.   Not like typical liberal pathological phony apologies some Americans do, obligatorily in public, but based on real, objective grounds.  
  
They want to be told how great they are, even when they suck; I really think it is due to Dr. Spock inspired, 'Entitlement' syndrome.  Every American has a birth right to feel good about himself, no matter how worthless, useless they are; in ROK, people have no problem telling others to go off themselves since they are worthless and useless.   
  
In U.S. it's common to see movies/TV shows where a misunderstood village idiot gets help from nice people and become great heroes.   In ROK, in one TV show I remember, a village idiot gets mistreated by the villagers, a woman feels sorry for him, and takes him home to teach him to become a good man; the idiot rapes the woman at night when she's asleep, and too ashamed to tell anyone what happened, and gets pregnant, and dies during the child birth, leaving her three children orphans.  
  
In U.S. they love to celebrate family values/bonds; in ROK, they love to tell the truth about actual family life/disputes/feuds, especially involving parents and children, often how adult children will prey upon their vulnerable parents, cheat/swindle them.     
  
What's holding U.S. back is not the lack of worthy people, but the lack of common sense from the people in general, who are so spoilt rotten, they cannot appreciate true virtue, but easily swayed by bullshit flattery.

I think the Pro-Zionist lobby finally noticed; suddenly they are paying attention to ROK.   I really think they realize ROK could replace U.S. sometime in the future; I think it would be around 2050.   They realize if ROK replaced U.S. Zionism is going to be in big trouble.  So they are trying to shame/extort/manipulate ROK into becoming next U.S: It's not going to work.
