@felbz, all the images I saw were under @sacredcow's Posts, not his Comments. Probably the last four days' worth. They were likely @logical's pochas, in which case he said he deleted them. @logical, perhaps next time someone's banned, his Comments can be cleaned out, first. I don't know how some platforms are able to delete everything when we click "delete account" (or if they really do); but it must be possible.

This is a complicated nuanced topic to discuss in this context. But the TL;DR: Long term thinking for a platform such as Soj.ooO is complicated. Soj.ooO could ban someone and then all their posts are deleted forever! BAM! Ok but what if this user has 5 years of posts, thousands maybe tens of thousands of comments. Now when a new person stumbles upon some relevant information or a good post weeks/months/years later thats this 'banned user' was involved in, there is going to be a big fat (deleted) or missing context as to what happened at that time when the post was created/happened. What do you do with the responses to a deleted post? Do all those disappear as well? At what point do we stop the slippery slope of censorship and over controlling rules? Go look at a reddit post, find one that is 8-10 years old. Everyone in the post is banned, the OP is banned, the commenters are banned, 95% of everything that happened has been deleted . Soj.ooO was created to stop this. So that there can be a record of what really happened for the future. End the **MEMORY HOLE** and sweeping under the rug. It's not just a technical discussion of what is possible to do, Sure Soj.ooO, and "We" "Us" as the community can choose to ban/censor/delete/edit But where does that lead us 5 years from now? Me personally I would rather have to deal with a few of these ass holes who bypass the image censors and troll us. Rather than become an echo chamber controlled by a few toxic moderators on power trips.
