Yeah....  To be fair I think it is more like infantilised. People have lost to ability to critical think for themselves, without lots of outside information, councilng or hand holding... They require spoon fed "facts" in puree form, easy to digest, that doesn't rock their worldview too much, so they can continue in their blissful ignorance or tribal delusions.

Humans have always needed those things. The "mass" hasn't changed over the years, data has gotten easier to access and we see so many things today on the internet. People have always done dumb shit. For most if not all humans this is the first time they have lived this human life. You aren't always going to get it correct. That is why no human should hold power. We need to have a base line of HUMANS have rights, and then have a strong law and order system.
